During the production of Bricklife in October 2025, the entire team was brought onto Odyssey to support its release for in December 2025. Our task was to develop a brand new FTUE from scratch, for Ninjago, in order to ensure that players would understand the new mechanics and features that Ninjago was bringing to the game, including the introduction of the new difficulty spike when in combat.
My part on this team was to assist design and development wherever possible, making sure that the vision of the FTUE from higher ups was executed properly, and released within our short timeframe. As such, I moved consistently from task to task, having a hand in most of the work being put in for the new FTUE, and working with all the relevant parties and disciplines.
After the release of the update in december, the rest of the FTUE team moved over to a new R&D project, while I stayed on Ninjago for a few weeks in order to lead and coordinate all FTUE bug fixes, hotfixes, and update any design changes that were found from live user testing.
